  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Creaming together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix together the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
  6. Fold in the raisins gently.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
