A rich and creamy Nutella Cheesecake topped with a luxurious chocolate ganache, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • ½ cup melted unsalted butter
  • A pinch of salt
  • 16 oz (2 bricks) full-fat cream cheese, room temperature
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • ½ cup cold heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup Nutella (for ganache)
  • ¼ cup heavy cream (for ganache)

Instructions

  1. Combine the chocolate cookie crumbs, melted butter, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  2. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of an 8- or 9-inch springform pan and place in the freezer.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Add the powdered sugar and continue beating until fully incorporated.
  5. Spoon the Nutella into the cream cheese mixture and beat until combined.
  6. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  7. Whip the cold heavy cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form.
  8. Gently fold the whipped cream into the Nutella-cream cheese mixture.
  9. Remove the crust from the freezer and fill it with the cheesecake mixture.
  10. Smooth the top and gently tap to release air bubbles. Chill for at least 6 hours.
  11. Warm the heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat and then stir in the Nutella until smooth for the ganache.
  12. Pour the ganache over the cheesecake and chill again for at least 1 hour.
  13. Release the cheesecake from the pan and slice using a warm knife.

Notes

For best results, chill overnight before serving.
