A spicy, crispy Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich that brings warmth and flavor to any gathering.

  • 4 Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp Cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • Pickles
  • Buns
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken by soaking the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. Prepare the dry coating by mixing flour, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish.
  3. Dredge each piece of marinated chicken in the flour mixture until fully coated.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry the chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  6. Drizzle with spicy cayenne oil if desired.
  7. Assemble the sandwiches by placing the fried chicken on the buns and adding pickles.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
