Delicious muffins with a fluffy exterior and a rich, gooey center of cookie butter and Nutella, perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cookie butter
  • Nutella (for the center)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Combine the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fill each muffin liner about halfway with batter.
  6. Add a teaspoon of Nutella in the center of each muffin.
  7. Cover the Nutella with more batter until each liner is about three-quarters full.
  8. Dollop some cookie butter on top of each muffin.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a bakery-style dome, let the batter rest for 10 minutes before baking. You can reduce sugar for less sweetness.
