A decadent chocolate pie layered with whipped cream and topped with mini marshmallows and pecans, perfect for celebrations and cozy gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate cookies
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix the crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter until combined. Press this mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, and then let it cool completely.
  2. Combine powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Mix well to eliminate any lumps.
  3. Whip the heavy cream in another bowl until it forms stiff peaks.
  4. Fold the whipped cream into the cocoa mixture until fully combined.
  5. Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled cookie crust, smoothing it out to ensure even coverage. Layer the chocolate pudding on top.
  6. Sprinkle mini marshmallows and chopped pecans on top of the pudding layer.
  7. Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours before serving.
  8. Garnish with chocolate shavings before serving.

Notes

For best results, use cold heavy cream when whipping. Try different toppings for variations.
