Delightful bite-sized version of the classic Italian dessert with a rich ricotta filling and crispy shells.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 package cannoli shells (store-bought or homemade)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Chocolate shavings or additional chocolate chips for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend the filling by combining the ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the mini chocolate chips and gently fold them into the mixture.
  3. Fill each cannoli shell with the ricotta mixture using a piping bag or a spoon.
  4. Arrange the filled cannoli cups on a serving platter and dust with powdered sugar.
  5. Garnish with chocolate shavings or extra chocolate chips if desired.
  6. Serve immediately for the best crunch, or refrigerate until serving.
