A delightful dessert that combines crispy cornflake coating with creamy vanilla ice cream, drizzled with honey and optional chocolate sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 2 cups cornflakes
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup flour
  • Oil for frying
  • Chocolate sauce (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Scoop generous balls of vanilla ice cream and freeze for at least 2 hours.
  2. Crush cornflakes and mix with cinnamon.
  3. Dip ice cream balls in flour, then egg, and finally in the cornflake mixture, pressing lightly.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the ice cream balls for about 30 seconds until golden brown.
  6. Drain the fried balls on paper towels.
  7. Serve drizzled with honey, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream if desired.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
