A romantic and flavorful shrimp pasta dish with a creamy sauce and crispy bacon, perfect for special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 ounces pasta (like fettuccine or linguine)
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; once it’s al dente, drain it and set aside.
  2. Crisp the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté the shrimp in the skillet with bacon drippings until they’re pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
  5. Create the creamy sauce by pouring in the heavy cream and lemon juice, stirring gently.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta, parmesan cheese, and crumbled bacon back into the skillet.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, choose fresh shrimp over frozen. Don’t overcook the shrimp as they will continue cooking slightly after mixing.
