  • 1 (5 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 2 cups whipped cream or Cool Whip
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vanilla pudding by mixing it with cold milk according to the package instructions and set aside to firm up.
  2. Create the layers in a large serving bowl: add a layer of vanilla wafers, followed by a layer of banana slices, then a layer of pudding. Repeat until all ingredients are used, finishing with pudding on top.
  3. Spread whipped cream over the top and garnish with additional banana slices and crushed wafers if desired.
  4. Chill the dessert by covering and refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

For best flavor and texture, let your pudding chill overnight. Choose ripe bananas for maximum sweetness.
