  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 can blueberry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 oz), softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Spread the blueberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the blueberry filling.
  5. Mix the yellow cake mix with the lemon juice and melted butter until just combined.
  6. Pour this mixture carefully on top of the cream cheese layer.
  7. Sprinkle fresh blueberries on top of the batter.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.
