Delightful lasagna roll ups filled with creamy cheeses and topped with marinara sauce, combining traditional flavors in a neat and elegant way.

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Prepare the cheese mixture by combining ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Assemble the roll ups by spreading the cheese mixture onto each noodle and rolling them up tightly.
  5. Layer a thin coat of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Arrange the roll ups seam-side down in the dish, topping with remaining marinara and mozzarella.
  7. Bake covered with foil for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

These roll ups can be assembled ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours before baking. They can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
