These Kitchen Sink Cookies are a delightful mix of flavors and textures, perfect for any occasion and endlessly customizable.

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup of your favorite mix-ins (coconut flakes, dried fruits, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, along with the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips, nuts, oats, and any additional mix-ins.
  7. Scoop rounded portions of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months. Customize mix-ins based on preference.
