A refreshing and creamy Key Lime Pie that’s perfect for summer gatherings, featuring a buttery graham cracker crust and a light whipped cream topping.

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup key lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • Lime slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Create the graham cracker crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until coated. Press into a pie dish.
  3. Bake the crust for 8 minutes, then let cool.
  4. Whisk together egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest until smooth.
  5. Pour the filling into the cooled crust and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  6. Cool the pie to room temperature.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
  8. Whip together heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  9. Spread the whipped cream over the chilled pie and garnish with lime slices.
