Savory and sweet meatballs coated in a luscious honey garlic sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well and form into meatballs.
  3. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  4. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  5. Toss the cooked meatballs in the honey garlic sauce and serve warm.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. Use soaked bread in milk for moister meatballs.
