Delightfully soft and sweet donut bites coated in a rich honey butter glaze, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk together the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir until just combined.
  5. Fill the mini muffin tins about 2/3 full with the batter.
  6. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Prepare the honey butter glaze by mixing softened butter, honey, and powdered sugar in a bowl.
  8. Dip the cooled donuts into the glaze and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon to the dry ingredients. Use almond milk for a dairy-free version.
