A delightful mix of buttery caramel, crunchy pecans, and silky chocolate that evokes warm memories.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup caramels
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the pecans on a baking sheet and toast for about 8-10 minutes until fragrant. Allow to cool.
  2. Heat the caramels and heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat until melted and smooth.
  3. Form clusters of toasted pecans on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle the melted caramel over each cluster.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or a double boiler, then drizzle or pour over the caramel-covered pecans.
  6. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
  7. Let the candy set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or refrigerate for up to two weeks.
