A delightful and vibrant frosting made with fresh raspberries that adds a splash of color and flavor to your baked goods.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries, pureed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoons heavy cream (optional for consistency)

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter in a mixing bowl until creamy and smooth.
  2. Gradually add in the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until combined.
  3. Add the raspberry puree and vanilla extract, blending until fully incorporated.
  4. If the frosting is too thick, add heavy cream one tablespoon at a time to reach desired consistency.
  5. Use the frosting immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

For an extra smooth frosting, sift the powdered sugar before adding it. You can substitute other fruits or add lemon zest for variations.
