  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (for filling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the peanut butter, softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  4. Combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet ingredients.
  5. Shape dough into balls and place on a baking sheet, flattening slightly with a fork.
