Delicious homemade granola bars that are easy to make and customizable to fit your taste.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut butter or almond butter)
  • 1/2 cup dried fruits (raisins, cranberries, or apricots)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the rolled oats, nuts, dried fruits, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Melt the honey and nut butter over low heat until smooth, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the liquid mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan and press down firmly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or refrigerate for up to two weeks. Can be frozen for up to three months.
