Delicious and easy homemade granola bars packed with wholesome ingredients, perfect for a quick snack or breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup nut butter (e.g., almond or peanut butter)
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (e.g., raisins, cranberries)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the rolled oats, nuts, salt, and dried fruit in a large bowl.
  3. Melt the honey and nut butter in a small saucepan over low heat until well combined.
  4. Add the vanilla extract to the honey-nut butter blend and pour over the dry ingredients, stirring until incorporated.
  5. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish in an even layer.
  6. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  7. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. For longer storage, wrap individual bars in plastic wrap and freeze for up to three months.
