A nostalgic and easy to make snack using pureed fruits, perfect for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pureed fruit (such as apples, strawberries, or mangoes)
  • 12 tablespoons honey or sugar (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°F (77°C) or set your dehydrator to a low setting.
  2. Puree your chosen fruit until smooth.
  3. Add honey or sugar and lemon juice for added flavor.
  4. Spread the fruit puree onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet or dehydrator tray.
  5. Bake or dehydrate for 6-8 hours, until dry to the touch.
  6. Cool completely, then cut into strips and roll them up.
  7. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

Homemade fruit leather can be paired with cheese or yogurt, and is great for trail mix or lunchboxes.
