A simple and nostalgic banana bread recipe that transforms ripe bananas into a delicious treat, perfect for breakfast or snack time.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
  4. Incorporate the baking soda and a pinch of salt into the banana mixture.
  5. Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  6. Add the flour gently until just incorporated.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
