A delightful summer dessert made with layers of fluffy angel food cake, creamy pineapple mixture, and fresh strawberries.

  • 1 box angel food cake mix
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Optional: Chopped nuts or coconut for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the angel food cake mix instructions.
  2. Prepare the angel food cake mix according to the package directions and bake until golden brown.
  3. While the cake cools, in a large bowl, combine the undrained crushed pineapple, whipped topping, and vanilla pudding mix. Mix until smooth.
  4. Once the cake is completely cooled, cut it into cubes.
  5. In a serving dish, create layers by placing cake cubes, followed by the pineapple mixture, and then a layer of sliced strawberries. Repeat layers.
  6. Top with chopped nuts or coconut if desired.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Store any leftover Heaven on Earth Cake in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For best results, enjoy within a day or two to maintain the cake’s light texture.
