A leaner take on a classic favorite, these juicy and flavorful turkey burgers are perfect for summer barbecues or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Olive oil for grilling
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and toppings of choice

Instructions

  1. Combine the ingredients in a large bowl: ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley if using. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into patties about 1/2 inch thick, making a small dip in the center of each patty.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat, brushing the surface with olive oil.
  4. Grill the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, ensuring they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Assemble the burgers by serving the turkey patties on burger buns with fresh lettuce, slices of tomato, and any additional toppings you prefer.

Notes

For a spicier burger, add crushed red pepper flakes or jalapeños to the mixture. Chilling patties for 30 minutes can help them hold together while cooking.
