  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Teriyaki Marinade: In a bowl, mix together the pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger until the brown sugar dissolves.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken thighs into the marinade, ensuring they are fully submerged. Let them soak for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat Your Grill: While the chicken is marinating, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove and Discard Marinade: After marinating, take the chicken out and discard the marinade.
  5. Prepare the Grill: Brush the grill grates lightly with vegetable oil.
  6. Grill the Chicken: Place the marinated chicken thighs on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side.
  7. Rest the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
