A comforting ground beef rice casserole that is hearty and easy to make, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Ground beef
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup, condensed
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups White rice, cooked
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1.5 cups Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Milk

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, adding garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Sauté until fully browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Combine the cream of mushroom soup and Worcestershire sauce with the cooked beef in the skillet. Mix well.
  3. Add 1 cup of cheddar cheese and the milk to the mixture, stirring until creamy.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly, and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Cool the casserole for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
