A simple yet profoundly delicious Greek yogurt chicken recipe that’s juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Mix the Marinade: In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Stir until well blended.
  2. Coat the Chicken: Take your chicken breasts and coat them thoroughly in the yogurt mixture. Make sure each piece is well covered for maximum flavor and tenderness.
  3. Marinate the Chicken: Cover the coated chicken and place it in the refrigerator to marinate. Ideally, let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best results.
  4. Preheat the Oven: When you’re ready to cook, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Bake the Chicken: Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  6. Serve Hot: Once done, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve hot and enjoy the burst of flavors!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a touch of honey to the marinade. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
