A creamy, minty pie that brings a nostalgic touch to any gathering, perfect for summer barbecues or holiday feasts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup crème de menthe
  • 1/4 cup crème de cacao
  • 1 packet of unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Chocolate shavings or mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it stand for 5 minutes to soften.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, gently heat the gelatin mixture until it’s fully dissolved, then remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until just combined.
  4. Stir in the dissolved gelatin along with the crème de menthe, crème de cacao, and a few drops of green food coloring if you wish. Mix until well-combined.
  5. Pour the luscious green mixture into the pre-made graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until the pie is set.
  7. Serve chilled, garnished with chocolate shavings or fresh mint leaves.

Notes

For a twist, substitute crème de menthe with raspberry liqueur or use a chocolate cookie crust.
