  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg in a mixing bowl until well blended and smooth.
  3. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan and spread the cake mixture into the bottom evenly.
  4. Beat the softened cream cheese in another bowl until smooth.
  5. Add the powdered sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the cream cheese, mixing until creamy.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake layer in the pan.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
  8. Cool the cake before cutting it into squares to serve.
