  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in a bowl with cornstarch and soy sauce for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add the marinated chicken, cooking until golden.
  3. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside while keeping the oil and browned bits in the pan.
  4. Add garlic, ginger, and dried red chili peppers to the same pan and sauté briefly until fragrant.
  5. Combine chicken broth, hoisin sauce, and sugar in the pan, stirring until well mixed.
  6. Return the chicken to the pan, mixing until it’s coated with the sauce.
  7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot!

Notes
