  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup pretzels, crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a large bowl, then stir in the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Mix the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  6. Cool the brownies completely in the pan.
  7. Add the caramel sauce and sprinkle the crushed pretzels on top.
  8. Slice into squares and serve.
