Homemade Fruit Leather

Delicious homemade fruit leather made from pureed fruits, perfect for a healthy snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of pureed fruit (such as strawberries, mangoes, or apples)
  • 12 tablespoons of honey or sugar (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to the lowest setting, or prepare your dehydrator.
  2. Puree your chosen fruit until smooth.
  3. Sweeten and flavor if desired with honey or sugar and lemon juice, then blend again.
  4. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  5. Spread the fruit puree evenly on the baking sheet to about 1/8-inch thickness.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the oven or dehydrator and dry for 6-8 hours until no longer sticky.
  7. Cool completely on the baking sheet.
  8. Cut into strips and roll up in parchment paper for storage.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks, or in the fridge/freezer for longer storage.
