  • 1 cup soft cake pieces (like angel food cake)
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package of instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: additional strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pudding mix: Whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk in a medium bowl until smooth. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
  2. Blend the ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, add the whipped topping, the thickened pudding mixture, and vanilla extract. Gently fold together.
  3. Add strawberries and cake: Introduce the sliced strawberries and soft cake pieces to the mixture, folding gently until just combined.
  4. Chill the fluff salad: Transfer the mixture to the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Serve with flair: Once chilled, scoop into bowls and garnish with additional strawberries if desired.
