A visually stunning cake decorated with fresh strawberries and blueberries, perfect for celebrations.

  • 1 box of cake mix (plus ingredients to prepare)
  • 1 cup of whipped cream
  • 1 cup of strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cake Mix: Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions. Follow the package directions to prepare the cake mix. Pour the batter into a rectangular cake pan and bake until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  2. Allow the Cake to Cool Completely: Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan.
  3. Frost the Cooled Cake: Take your whipped cream and gently frost the entire surface of the cake.
  4. Arrange the Strawberries: On one side of the cake, arrange the sliced strawberries in a striped pattern, mimicking the flag.
  5. Create the Stars with Blueberries: On the opposite side, place the blueberries to represent the stars.
  6. Dust with Powdered Sugar: Optionally, lightly dust the top of the cake with powdered sugar.
  7. Chill Before Serving: Place the cake in the fridge to chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
