A classic British dessert featuring whipped cream, strawberries, and meringue, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 2 cups of strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 cups of whipped cream
  • 4 meringue nests, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Macerate the strawberries by combining them with sugar and letting them sit for about 10 minutes.
  2. Whip the cream and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Incorporate the crushed meringue into the whipped cream, folding gently to combine.
  4. Merge the macerated strawberries into the mixture to create a beautiful marbled effect.
  5. Serve immediately in bowls or glasses, topping with extra crushed meringue if desired.

Notes
