Delicious brownies infused with espresso, offering a rich chocolate and coffee flavor.

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons espresso powder or instant coffee
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the cocoa, flour, salt, baking powder, and espresso powder.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

Use high-quality cocoa powder and chocolate chips for richer flavor. Do not overbake for fudgy brownies.
