A comforting and flavorful meatloaf that combines seasoned ground beef with savory stuffing mix, glazed with ketchup for added sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 box (approx. 6 oz) stuffing mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef, stuffing mix, water, ketchup, egg, diced onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it into a baking dish.
  4. Spread additional ketchup over the top of the meatloaf for the glaze.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, avoid overmixing and customize flavors with additional herbs or spices.
