Delightfully fluffy homemade pancakes, perfect for a cozy brunch.

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Whisk the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Mix the wet ingredients: In another bowl, combine milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
  3. Combine wet and dry: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  4. Preheat your cookware: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  5. Pour the batter: Using a measuring cup, pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
  6. Cook until bubbles form: Watch for bubbles on the surface, then flip and cook until browned on the other side.
  7. Serve warm: Serve pancakes with syrup, fruit, or toppings of your choice.

Notes
