A refreshing and creamy tzatziki sauce made with Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, and herbs, perfect for dipping or as a condiment.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium cucumber, grated and drained
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Prepare the cucumber by grating and draining it well.
  3. Combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, dill, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  4. Mix until beautifully blended.
  5. Season to perfection with salt and pepper.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Serve with grilled meats, wraps, or pita bread.

Notes

For spicier tzatziki, add a pinch of cayenne pepper. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
