Deliciously crispy, fluffy donuts filled with rich edible cookie dough, perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup edible cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Whisk the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Combine the wet ingredients in another bowl.
  3. Gently pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the donuts in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Drain the donuts on paper towels.
  7. Pipe in the edible cookie dough once the donuts are cool.
  8. Finish with chocolate chips and a dusting of powdered sugar before serving.

Notes
