  • 1 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Fit the pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate and set it aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, corn syrup, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt; mix until smooth.
  4. Gently stir in the chopped nuts and chocolate chips.
  5. Carefully pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the filling is set and the top is golden.
  7. Allow the pie to cool before slicing and serving.
