Delicious bite-sized treats filled with sweet caramel-coated apples wrapped in flaky pie crust, perfect for cozy gatherings.

  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 cup apple, diced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Flour (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crusts on a lightly floured surface and cut them into squares about 4 inches wide.
  3. Combine the diced apples with caramel sauce in a mixing bowl and stir gently.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple-caramel mixture in the center of each pie crust square.
  5. Fold the corners of the pie crust square towards the center and seal the edges by pinching them together.
  6. Brush the tops of each pie bomb with the beaten egg and roll them in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar and accompanied by vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
