Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup strawberry puree
  • 1/2 cup crushed strawberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup crushed freeze-dried strawberries

Instructions

  1. Create the Graham Cracker Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter, mixing until everything is well incorporated. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9 inch dish.
  2. Prepare the Creamy Filling: In another bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture gently.
  4. Spread the Cream Cheese Mixture: Carefully spread the cream cheese mixture over the graham cracker crust.
  5. Layer the Strawberry Puree: In a small bowl, combine the strawberry puree with the crushed strawberries. Spread this mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Add the Crunch Topping: Mix the sugar with the crushed freeze-dried strawberries, and sprinkle this mixture over the dessert.
  7. Chill Before Serving: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For best taste, use ripe strawberries. Bars can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
