Ingredients

  • Croissants
  • Eggs
  • Cheese (such as cheddar or Swiss)
  • Protein (such as ham, bacon, or sausage)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the croissants by slicing them in half and laying them on a baking sheet.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, salt, and pepper.
  4. Scramble the eggs in a skillet over medium heat until fluffy and fully cooked.
  5. Assemble scrambled eggs on the bottom half of each croissant.
  6. Add a slice of cheese on top of the eggs.
  7. Cook your choice of protein in the skillet until heated through and layer it on top of the cheese.
  8. Complete the sandwich by placing the top half of the croissant on each sandwich.
  9. Optional: Spread butter on the croissants and toast them in the oven for 5-7 minutes.
