Deliciously crispy baked tofu nuggets, perfect for a healthy snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup of cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Drain the tofu and press it to remove excess moisture.
  3. Mix together the cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  4. Combine the soy sauce and olive oil in another bowl.
  5. Dip each tofu nugget in the soy sauce mixture, then coat it with the cornstarch mixture, and finish with breadcrumbs.
  6. Place the coated nuggets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Use firm tofu for the best texture. Experiment with spices for unique flavors.
