A luscious blend of creamy cheesecake with a delightful caramelized sugar top, perfect for impressing your guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a mixing bowl until it resembles wet sand.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared springform pan to create an even crust.
  4. Beat cream cheese and granulated sugar with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add sour cream and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, ensuring each is incorporated before adding the next. Pour the batter over the crust in the springform pan.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  7. Cool the cheesecake at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, spread it over the cheesecake, and caramelize brown sugar on top with a kitchen torch.
