  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk until a soft dough forms.
  5. Roll the dough into balls and flatten slightly.
  6. Combine the strawberries, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla in another bowl.
  7. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each dough piece, then fold and seal.
