Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
  2. Heat the Olive Oil: In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
  4. Simmer the Cream: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Combine with Parmesan: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy, adding pasta water if needed.
  6. Season It Right: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Toss in the Pasta: Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until coated.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter sauce, substitute half of the heavy cream with broth. Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor.
