  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Sear the chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Sauté the garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until it becomes fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Cook the broccoli: Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and cook until they’re tender, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Create the creamy sauce: Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Mix until combined and smooth.
  5. Combine the chicken: Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet. Stir gently to coat in the creamy sauce.
  6. Serve it up: Serve the creamy garlic chicken and broccoli over a bed of fluffy rice.

Notes

This dish pairs wonderfully with a green salad or garlic bread. Add a dash of lemon juice for brightness or red pepper flakes for heat.
