Transform simple grapes into a delightful treat with a sweet vanilla syrup – perfect for gatherings and snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of grapes
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Wash the grapes thoroughly to remove any dirt or residue and remove the stems.
  2. Combine the water and sugar in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Add the prepared grapes to the boiling syrup and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring gently.
  4. Carefully stir in the vanilla extract after removing the pot from heat.
  5. Let the mixture cool completely at room temperature, then strain the grapes and let them dry.

Notes

Store leftover Crack Grapes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
